Writer and blogger by day, bartender by night. I graduated with honors from Towson University in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. Since then, the combination of the bleak job market and the realization that I am not designed for a traditional nine-to-five job forced me into an eighteen month period of deep self-reflection. About six months ago I came out on the other side with one clear epiphany- I had to be a writer.

It wasn't a matter of choice. Tennessee Williams summed it up perfectly when he said, "I had no other choice but to be a writer." I believe one does not find his or her passion in life, it finds them. Writing found me and it's not letting me go. I have completely committed myself to a lifetime of translating my inner-most inspirations into written words for (here's hoping) the whole world to read.

While I may not yet have the credentials I hope to one day attain, I make up for it in my desire to persevere. My sincerest hope is that you will read my words with an open mind and sometimes a sense of humor. And I always love and cherish feedback of any kind... as long as it is accompanied by good intentions.

Happy reading, everyone!
